What we collect

We collect what you submit through our forms, such as your work email, name, company, product URL, and category, along with any message you send us. We also collect privacy-friendly, aggregate usage analytics and basic technical data (such as an anonymized IP address) that your browser sends when you visit the site.

How we use it

We use your information to schedule and deliver a Fold Score read, to respond to your messages, and to operate, secure, and improve the site. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Legal basis

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and the EU GDPR where it applies to you, we process your data on the basis of your consent when you submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in operating the site, keeping it secure, and responding to your inquiries.

Sharing and processors

We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under appropriate data-processing terms: Formspree for handling form submissions, PostHog (EU Cloud) for product analytics, and Vercel for hosting and content delivery. We may also disclose data where required by law.

Cookies and analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics, hosted in the EU (PostHog Cloud EU) for data residency. We run it in cookieless mode: no analytics cookies are set, persistence is in-memory only, and client IP addresses are anonymized. We capture aggregate usage and a small number of conversion events, such as when a form is submitted. If we later enable retention analytics or session replay, we will switch to a consent-gated configuration and update this page.

Data retention

We keep form submissions for up to 12 months after our last interaction with you about them, unless a longer period is required by law, then delete or anonymize them. Aggregate analytics that do not identify you may be kept longer.

Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing, as well as to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise them, contact us at contact@nativefold.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

International transfers

We are based in Switzerland, and some of our providers process data outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA, including in the United States (Formspree and Vercel). Where data is transferred to a country without an equivalent level of protection, we rely on recognized safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the Swiss addendum.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is identified by the date below. Material changes will be noted here.
